GUEST SPEAKER: ECPN PUERTO RICO
As my time as an undergrad is coming to an end, I decided to write a senior thesis: Art Conservation in Cultural Institutions in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands: Damage Prevention from Natural Disasters. I spoke about the progress of my thesis and how it would benefic instituions of Puerto Rico at the conference: Fellowships and Internships from the Latinx Perspective. I also spoke on my past internships and how I navigate being a Latina in pursuit of a career in conservation. The conference was held through zoom and I was able to present on my topic and participate in a Q&A.

VOLUNTEERING AT THE BLUE & GOLD
During the fall semester of 2021, I volunteered at the University of Delaware's Blue and Gold weekend. I assisted with both the art conservation and art history table. Also participated in a student panel and answered questions about my major and the university to potential future students and their parents.

UNDERGRADUATE SOCIAL MEDIA REPRESENTATIVE
During the spring of 2021, I was elected undergraduate social media representative for the Art Conservation department at the University of Delaware. My roles include being the liaison between the graduate Art Conservation program and the undergraduate social media team. I create content for all social media platforms that highlight the projects of undergraduate students. On the left is an example of a blog post series for a paintings internship at the university. I collected all the student's blog posts and curated graphics for the UD Art Conservation Instagram.

ASSISTANT AT THE GENERAL ARCHIVES
Among multiple activities I have partaken in, the most memorable one was serving as a teaching assistant to Debra H. Norris for the Preservation of Photographic Collections Workshop at the General Archives of Puerto Rico. I oversaw the process of the presentation and workshop and helped with cleaning techniques. Additionally, I participated in helping to rescue photographs that were ruined in simulations of natural disasters
